Calvin & Hobbes - Where Imagination Takes You

I just turned this one in at the Knoxville Great Cake Bake supporting the Imagination Library.  It is entitled - Where Will Your Imagination Take You?  It is not a real cake this year although I was hoping to, I just ran out of time.  We've always loved the Calvin & Hobbes sense of humor in our house.

The cake captures the ingenious imagination Calvin has and asks what will you do with yours.

Scene Close Ups:

Bad to the Bone - Bat to the Bone

Troy sketched this one out to give me an idea of what he wanted, I re-sketched it after looking at some images of a "Bad to the Bone" logo patch and created this one of a kind cake for my boy.  It is german chocolate with coconut pecan filling and a modeling chocolate skull.

1935 Ford Coupe - inspired

This cake was for a great gentleman who has a 1935 Ford Coupe and sent the picture for inspiration.  The cake is intended to be inspired by but not replicate the car.  It is a White Chocolate cake with alternating dark chocolate ganache and swiss meringue buttercream frosting.
